The Loders Croklaan, NA, LLC, 95-acre, food-manufacturing facility in Channahon, Illinois (30 miles southwest of Chicago) manufactures edible vegetable-oil products as food ingredients and other applications. Palm is the principle oil used in the manufacturing process, but soybean, cottonseed, canola, and palm kernel are also used.

The facility takes oils that have been refined by our suppliers and processes them further by bleaching, hydrogenation, dry fractionation and deodorization. Finished products are packaged in a variety of forms and are shipped dry from an on-site warehouse or in liquid form in rail tank cars.

The Channahon facility recently expanded by 10,000 square feet to increase our storage capacity by 200 percent; added a new state-of-the-art bleaching line that boosts our capability by 400 percent; and installed a new oil in-line blending capability that doubles our bulk capacity.
